During Your First Visit
Meet Your Dentist
Your first exam and conversation are conducted personally by the dentist. We’ll take time to understand your dental history, concerns, previous experiences, and goals so your care begins with a complete understanding of you, not simply what we see during an exam.
Advanced Imaging
Digital intraoral and extraoral X-rays allow us to see details that aren’t visible during a traditional dental exam. When appropriate, we may also use advanced 3D CT imaging to gain a more comprehensive view and make informed, precise recommendations for your care.
Thorough Exam
Your first visit includes a thorough evaluation of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health. We also perform a head and neck exam, oral cancer screening, and complete periodontal charting to identify concerns early and establish an accurate baseline for future care.
Review Results
We believe you should understand what we see and why it matters. Your dentist will review your exam and imaging with you, explain any findings in clear terms, and give you the opportunity to ask questions and fully understand your options.
Personalized Plan
No two patients have the same needs or priorities. If treatment is recommended, we’ll create an individualized plan based on your health, goals, and long-term wellbeing, using modern techniques and a thoughtful approach.
